2026 Climb Up Toubkal Summit

ABOUT THE EVENT:

This May, three dedicated members of the HDSA Washington Chapter—Jeffery Stromberg, Danette McCroskey, and Brian McCroskey—are taking their commitment to new heights as they embark on a powerful fundraising climb to the summit of Mount Toubkal in Morocco.

On May 1st, they will trek to the highest peak in North Africa, pushing their physical and mental limits in honor of individuals and families impacted by Huntington’s disease. Every step they take represents strength, resilience, and hope for a future free of HD.

Through this incredible journey, they are raising critical funds to support the Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA), which provides essential resources, education, advocacy, and research for the HD community.
